Al Asayl Exhibition 2025 opens at Expo Al Dhaid with 250 companies and brands showcasing latest equestrian, camel and falconry products

The fourth edition of the Al Asayl Exhibition 2025 officially opened, yesterday, Thursday, at Expo Al Dhaid and will run until September 28.
Organised by Expo Centre Sharjah with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition brings together over 250 companies and brands specialising in horse, camel, and falcon supplies. It also features notable participation from official clubs and associations active in equestrian sports, falconry, and camel racing.
The opening ceremony was attended by H.E. Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman of SCCI, along with several members of SCCI’s Board of Directors. Also present were Mohammed Musabah Al Tunaiji, Director of Expo Al Dhaid, and Sultan Shattaf, Commercial Director of Expo Centre Sharjah, in addition to senior officials from government entities in Al Dhaid.
Following the inauguration, the attendees toured the exhibition’s various stands, where exhibitors provided detailed presentations on the latest products and services related to horse, camel, and falcon care. They also explored a diverse range of advanced equipment and tools designed for equestrian activities, falconry, and camel racing, underscoring the exhibition’s role as a hub for innovation in heritage-linked industries.
H.E. Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir said that the “Al Asayl Exhibition” is part of Sharjah Chamber’s ongoing efforts to support niche events that merge cultural heritage with innovation, creating both economic and social value.
He highlighted the exhibition’s role in preserving heritage and advancing the tourism sector, a key growth sector in Sharjah, while also promoting the UAE’s traditional sports such as falconry, camel racing, and equestrianism.
“The exhibition adds strategic depth to Sharjah’s portfolio of heritage and commercial events, catering to the Central Region’s community while attracting visitors with an interest in popular sports,” BuKhatir added.
For his part, Mohammed Musabah Al Tunaiji stated that the exhibition is an integrated platform that gathers leading companies and brands specialising in equestrianism, falconry, and camel racing under one roof, while also offering cultural experiences that appeal to visitors and participants alike.
He noted that the fourth edition of the Al Asayl Exhibition has witnessed notable growth in terms of participation and the richness of offerings, which include live demonstrations, interactive workshops and auctions, positioning the event as a magnet for a broad base of equestrian and falconry enthusiasts.
Meanwhile, Sultan Shattaf affirmed that the exhibition serves as an important platform to celebrate authentic Emirati cultural heritage and embrace innovation, while also reinforcing Sharjah’s position as a hub for hunting and equestrian sports.
He noted that the exhibition provides a premier venue to establish new business partnerships, support horse, camel, and falcon owners, and provide additional momentum for companies operating in this field, while enhancing public engagement with traditional falconry, camel racing, and equestrian sports.
The exhibition’s opening day witnessed strong turnout from visitors and enthusiasts of hunting and equestrian sports, who flocked to at Expo Al Dhaid to enjoy the heritage-inspired atmosphere and entertainment activities.
Attendees explored the exhibitors’ display of the latest horse and camel care products, advanced breeding techniques, stable equipment, animal transport gear, and veterinary solutions, in addition to the curated showcases of premium falcons alongside demonstrations and insights into falconry practices.
A major highlight of this year’s edition is the Falcon Auction, which serves as a key attraction for high-value buyers and collectors of rare and purebred falcons from both the UAE and the wider Gulf market. The auction is expected to draw strong participation from falconry enthusiasts and competitive bidding for premium breeds such as Shaheen, Gyr-Shaheen, Gyr-Tiba, and pure Gyr falcons.
Beyond its commercial dimension, the 4th Al Asayl Exhibition incorporates a rich programme of educational activities and training workshops on the care and treatment of horses, camels, and falcons. This integrated approach positions the exhibition as a unique platform that unites business opportunities with knowledge-sharing and heritage-inspired entertainment.
The exhibition is open to visitors on Friday from 3 p.m. to midnight, and across the weekend from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
