Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) was established in 1982 by H.H. Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a Member of the Supreme Council and the Ruler of Sharjah. He founded it to bring to life his vision of creating a nation of readers.
The rich legacy of the SIBF has extended across four decades. It promotes both cultural and intellectual growth and exchange worldwide.
